Toxicology studies in vitro

Toxicity is a feature of chemical compounds causing dysfunction or death of living cells, organs or organisms, after getting in their vicinity. Toxicity is a side effect resulting from chemical reactions between the physical and chemical compound that has penetrated into the body, a biological system (DNA, enzymes).

Toxicity testing is a necessary step in preclinical studies of potential therapeutic agents. Implementation of ADME-Tox test guarantees to minimize the risk of introduction to clinical trials of compounds that do not correspond to the therapeutic objectives of the project or those that have adverse side effects on the functioning of the cell. Obtained on the basis of our tests, data can be used to select compounds with the most favorable physicochemical parameters and check and validate the results obtained on the basis of previous studies.
