Selvita named the Most Patriotic Small Company

22 June 2016 – Selvita received the award for the most patriotic company with revenues of less than 100 mln PLN, in the ranking of the Polish Business Patriotism Index organized by the Rzeczpospolita. The assessment took into account criteria such as income, income tax, employment, as well as spending on research and development activities and charitable expenses.

In addition to that, Selvita was ranked as #21 in Poland in terms of funding for research and development, while demonstrating the highest ratio of R&D investment vs. revenue, with the value of 37.85%.

Selvita wins the European Rising Star Award

09 December 2015 – Selvita, the largest drug discovery company in Central and Eastern Europe, was awarded the European Rising Star Award in the prestigious European Small and Mid-Cap Awards competition, organized by the Federation of European Stock Exchanges (FESE) and the European Issuers Association, in collaboration with the European Commission.

In the Rising Star category, Selvita won with companies representing other high-tech industries, namely Planet.fr, listed on the NYSE Euronext Stock Exchange and Zalaris listed on the Norwegian Stock Exchange.

The finalists were selected from a number of companies pre-selected and nominated by the European stock markets. Each stock exchange could submit one issuer in each category. It should be mentioned the competition included only companies which made its debut on the stock exchange in 2014.

Pawel Przewiezlikowski named the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 in New Technologies/Innovation

26 November 2015 – Selvita Chief Executive Officer, Pawel Przewiezlikowski, was awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 award in the New Technologies/Innovation category.
 
The World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award program was created by EY to recognize the accomplishments of entrepreneurs around the globe. It builds on EY’s more than 29 years of success in running Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award programs in more than 60 countries around the world.

Selvita receives the Economic Award of the President of Poland

06 May 2015 – Selvita was awarded the Economic Award of the President of Poland in the category Innovation. The award was presented by the President of Poland, Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski, during the Final Gala of the 13th Edition of the Economic Award, at the International Fair in Poznan.

The Economic Award of the President of Poland is an award granted to the best performing businesses in Poland, which have a significant impact on the Polish economy and help to build country’s positive image both nationally and on the global arena. The Jury nominates the best companies in five categories: Innovation, Global Market Presence, Corporate Governance and CSR, Green Economy and Sustainable Success.

Selvita nominated to the President of Poland Economic Award

23 May 2014 – Selvita was nominated for the prestigious President of Poland Economic Award, in the category of Innovation.
Selvita found itself in the selected group of nominees in this category next to Laboratorium Kosmetyczne Dr Irena Eris and Medicalgorithmics S.A. Selvita’s presence in such an elite group of nominees for this prestigious award is already an exceptional success.
President of Poland Economic Award is a continuation of prizes awarded in 1998-2005 . President Komorowski resumed it in 2011. This year, the jury will nominate the best companies in five categories : innovation, global market presence, corporate governance and CSR, green economy and sustainable success – a new category, created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Freedom Day . The award in this category may apply to entrepreneurships which activities, being the result of 25 years of stable development, is a reflection of the success of the Polish economy.

Selvita founders awarded with Polish orders

4 June 2014 – On June 4, the central celebrations of the annual Polish Freedom Day took place in Warsaw. The Freedom Day was established to commemorate the first partially free parliamentary elections from 1989, which greatly contributed to the fall of communism in Poland and started the political and economic transformation of the country.During the ceremony, the President of Poland, Mr. Bronisław Komorowski, awarded orders of merit to individuals who actively contributed to the development of Poland unleashed by the events of 1989 on various fields such as culture, sports, science and business.

The founders of Selvita, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pawel Przewiezlikowski, and the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Boguslaw Sieczkowski were among the order recipients and they both received the Knight’s Crosses of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Among civilian awards, the Order of Polonia Restituta is second only to the rarely awarded Order of the White Eagle.

Selvita obtains CIR accreditation

07 December 2012 – Selvita obtained CIR accreditation from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research for a three-year period of 2012-2014. The French Reseach and Development tax credit initiative (‘Crédit d’Impôt Recherche’, CIR) gives eligible research-based French companies, who are subject to corporate tax in France, the ability to claim tax relief on costs generated in R&D activities outsourced to Selvita.

CIR accreditation allows Selvita’s both current and prospective customers in France to benefit from a tax relief of up to 30% of their R&D expenditure committed to Selvita.

 
The Research Tax Credit (CIR) is a central tool of the policy favoring research and innovation. This tax benefit allows the growth of businesses competitiveness by favoring research and development. It is particularly adapted to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprise and constitutes a reliable element of the innovative business financing plan ( www.eureka.lorraine.eu )

Selvita wins the INNOVATOR 2012 award

On October 4, at a gala ceremony in Warsaw, representatives of the editorial office of the “Wprost” magazine, granted the INNOVATOR 2012 awards, given each year to Polish companies most actively investing in research and development.

Among the winners was also Selvita, which won the award for the SME in the Science and Medicine category.

The INNOVATOR awards  are attributed based on the annual rankings of the Most Inovative Companies in Poland, prepared each year by the Institute of Economics, of the Polish Academy of Sciences, in which Selvita won the 2nd place aong most innovative SMEs and 3rd place among the most innovative companies in Poland.

Selvita at the top of the Most Innovative Companies in Poland ranking

On June 22, an awards ceremony took place, for the most recent ranking of the Most innovative companies in Poland, organized every year by the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Selvita S.A. won this year the two awards, having taken:

2nd place in the ranking of the most innovative SME in Poland in 2010, and
3rd place in the ranking of the 500 most innovative companies in Poland in 2010.

Selvita awarded in the GRAND PRIX EXPOCHEM competition

29 February 2012 – During this year’s International Fair and Conference on Chemical Industry – EXPOCHEM, Selvita SA was awarded a distinction in the Grand Prix EXPOCHEM competition for the STARLIMS system – an integrated laboratory information management system.

Award for most innovative product in Poland in 2011

01 December 2011 – Selvita S.A. received a distinction for the most innovative product in Poland in 2011, awarded by the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

This award was granted to Selvita for the project SEL103 – an innovative research program aimed at creating a symptomatic treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

Selvita wins the Innovator Małopolski 2011

17 November 2011 – Selvita is this year’s winner of the Innovator of Małopolska in the category of medium-sized enterprises.

The prize was awarded for Selvita’s proprietary project – SEL24, a group of compounds with anticancer potential. The project is the most advanced and innovative drug discovery project currently run by Selvita.

The idea behind the contest Innovator Małopolski is the promotion and support of micro, small and medium enterprises, which develop innovative solutions and implementing new technologies. Innovator Malopolski competition is organized annualy by the Technology Transfer Centre of Krakow University of Technology, together with the Marshal Office of Malopolska Region. The honorary patronage of the competition was taken this year by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Waldemar Pawlak, the Marshal of the Malopolska region, Malopolska Governor, the President of the polish Patent Office as well as the President of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

Selvita ranked the no. 1 Rising Star in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe

18 October 2011 – Selvita S.A. has been ranked as the no. 1 Rising Star within this year’s contest of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Central Europe.

The Central Europe Technology Fast 50 program, is part of a global effort by Deloitte to identify the fastest growing technology companies all over the world, which became a recognized benchmark of success in the technology industry. This prestigious annual award honors the fastest growing Central European technology companies, based on the percentage of revenue growth over certain period of time.

In this year’s edition, Selvita was voted as the no. 1 Rising Star, meaning a young, emerging company with the most potential to grow. With the result of a 2 623% increase in revenues over the past three years, Selvita beat a long list of high technology companies from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia and Slovenia.

What’s more, Selvita is also the only biotechnology company which can be found in the ranking.

 

Selvita wins the Master of Innovation award

13 May 2011 – During this year’s edition of the “Masters of Innovation” competition, organized along with the Central European Forum of Biotechnology and Innovative BioEconomy – BioForum 2011, Selvita was voted the most innovative biotechnology company in the region.

The participants of the competition were the most innovative enterprises from the biotech sector in the Eastern and Central European region. The main criterion for the evaluation of participants were the R&D projects run by a company and their innovation. Additionally, the business model, and aspects such as how effectively a company finds opportunities to finance its research and development activities and its implementation, were also assessed.
